In 1994 Ms. Ginn was
appointed to the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC), a
thirty-five member industry advisory board. She was appointed under the
authority of the 1994 congressional bill: Jobs Through Trade Expansion Act (P.L.
103-392). It was the ETTAC’s mission to provide private sector input and
analysis to the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee (TPCC).
In 1996 she was asked by the members of the ETTAC to write the Recommendations
Report for the TPCC and its 19 federal agencies. On January 7, 1997, Ms. Ginn
received a second-term appointment to serve on the ETTAC. On February 12, 1999,
she was asked to serve a third term by Secretary of the US Department of
Commerce, William Daley. Throughout 1998 and 1999 she supported the US Trade
Representative’s staff with trade standards negotiations as part of the Asia
Pacific Economic Cooperation organization early voluntary liberalization in
trade and investment negotiations. She is the Chief Editor and lead author of
the White Paper published by the Market Access Subcommittee of the ETTAC. |

In 1995
and 1996 Ginn & Associates, Inc. served as Program Planner for developing
the conceptual framework for the cleanup of the Dock Sud in Buenos Aires,
Argentina. Ms. Ginn along with Carlos Galvalisi, P.E. and others developed a program for financing a
cleanup initiative at Argentina's number-one hazardous waste site. The plan
was presented to the Governor of the Province in November, 1994. In
1995/1996 the U.S. Trade and Development Agency funded a Feasibility Study
of the area. Ms. Ginn’s published articles in the local press (Gerencia
Ambiental) outlined some funding mechanisms for environmental
management. |

For several
years throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s Ms. Ginn helped to host
various delegations from China sponsored by NAIIC. NAIIC is currently
taking an equity position in several energy sector projects in the
province of Liaoning in Northeast China. Ms. Ginn assisted NAIIC in the development of a
plan for an Environmental Industry Park
in Anshan. She also facilitated introductions between management personnel
from Swedish International Patient Services and key decision makers
at the Hua Mei Medical Center, the People’s Hospital and the
Children’s Hospital in Beijing, China. |

During the spring of 1997 Ms. Ginn provided logistical support for a
US Agency for International Development (US AID), Asia Environmental
Partnership tour by 15 Southeast Asian government officials.

In 1994, in affiliation with North Seattle
Community College, & the US Environmental Technology Institute (ETI), Ms. Ginn (through Ginn &
Associates, Inc.) helped to design and implement a two-week training program
for 17 students from Southeast Asia. Coursework was built on the need for
conducting environmental audits of properties that had been contaminated
during industrial development. |
