In October 2002 Ms. Ginn established a West Coast Operations
office in Bellevue, Washington for an Indian-based software engineering
company headquartered in Chennai, India. The company is a subsidiary of
Maersk Data (of the A.P. Moller Group) and Crompton Greaves (of the Thapar
Group). Her responsibilities as General Manager of US Sales and Marketing
included: evaluating options for high-speed connectivity to Europe,
establishing a media relations program, preparing and delivering marketing
materials and initiatives at conferences; establishing the US base for a
professional services practice; forming several strategic alliances and
partnerships (including Microsoft); and monitoring and responding to
Requests for Proposals.
